Introducing the latest in educational supplies and solutions, GESS Turkey offers unique trade opportunities to suppliers in the rapidly evolving education sector.
The GESS Turkey Educationalal Supplies and Solutions Fair and the Turkey Educational Technology Summit will be held at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 26-28, 2022, with the support of the Ministry of National Education. The event is the first and largest face-to-face meeting for the education sector after three years.
According to Tarsus Turkey General Manager Zekeriya Aytemur, GESS Turkey, which will host the Turkey Educational Technology Summit for the first time in 2022, aims to bring all the stakeholders in the education sector together. The Fair and Summit is held in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and its affiliate, the Directorate General for Innovation and Education (YEĞİTEK). Noting that both international and local supplier companies in the education sector are looking forward to 2022 and a return to face-to-face education, Aytemur said, “The education industry, with a market volume of billions of Turkish lira, is waiting for the 2022-2023 academic year to address postponed purchases. As our GESS Turkey fair will take place in May – a prime period to purchase for the new academic year – the Fair will deliver unique trade opportunities for the sector.”
The GESS Turkey Fair and the Turkey Educational Technology Summit offers a significant technology information and trade platform, featuring the latest educational products, technology services and applications under one roof. The event will bring together professional buyers from local and overseas, as well as state and private school administrators, owners, investors, education suppliers, and the managers who make purchasing decisions.
At the Fair, distance education technologies and innovations related to EdTech - AI, AR, AV and VR, coding, e-learning, software and hardware, gamification, 3D printers, multimedia technology and STEAM will be exhibited together. At the three-day Summit, held concurrently by the Ministry of National Education, visitors can examine new approaches and practices in education and training at conferences, panels, seminars and applied presentations.
With Trust Tarsus, exhibitors and visitors are safe!
Emphasizing that the safety of attendees is the priority for post-pandemic fairs, Aytemur said that Tarsus has prepared a series of measures called Trust Tarsus. The Trust Tarsus implementations are based on operational guidelines released by international sectoral associations such as SISO, IAEE, UFI and AEO, together with the directives of the T.C Ministry of Health, the World Health Organization and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). Aytemur noted that the SIGN Istanbul and Zuchex fairs in September were held safely, with all the necessary precautions, and that the fairs hosted thousands of buyers from all over the world without any problems. He added, “A safe organization awaits exhibitors and visitors at the GESS Turkey and Turkey Educational Technology Summit on May 26-28, 2022.”
